Green Chair in the Great Outdoors!
Three hikers meet on a hillside and tumble towards a complicated horizon. In a new site-specific work at The Schuylkill Center, Green Chair Dance Group gets outdoorsy, and a little rough and dirty. Splashing through a pond of gravel, rolling over stone ledges, and flying into each other’s arms, Green Chair harnesses the potential energy of the summer sun.
Join us for an adventure over stone, stairs, and grassy hill. Bring the kids, bring a picnic, bring some SPF.

Some news that's less exciting...
September's Open For Dancing Festival in Newport, RI, at which we were scheduled to choreograph a site-specific work on Newport movers, has been canceled for this year. The organizers asked Green Chair Dance Group to choreograph for the Festival in 2011 - we'll keep everyone up-to-date about that over the course of the year.
